    Simple X-Y chart

I have data in three columns

Column 1 - load on vehicle axle
Column 2 - tyre pressure for front wheels
Column 3 - tyre pressure for rear wheels

I wish to produce a line chart with the y-axis being tyre pressure and the x axis being load on vehicle axle.

    How do I do this?

I assume that it is easy but I am getting long in the tooth and I haven't used Excel seriously for over 15 years.

Select your whole table of data.
    use menu Insert -> chart
Select XY Scatter, and chose the style you like (maybe with lines between data points ?)
    Press next
Make sure "data series in columns" is selected.
Now i think it look something like you want like ?
    Just follow the whizard.

    Hi there

If I do as suggested then:

The Y axes is a series of numbers large enough to cover the range of axle loads 1000 to 2500) and pressures (30 up to 80).

The X axis is just 1, 2, 3, 4 etc representing the numbers of the rows in the data list.

I get three lines drawn on the graph representing:

1 axle loads against the data row
2 first pressure against data row
    3. second pressure against data row.

As the axle loads go up to 2500 kg and the pressures only up to 80 psi the two pressure lines virtually line on the X axis.

I have tried to upload the very simple excel file i have constructed as an example.
