changing series color within a chart

    Hi Masters!

Once again I need a bit of support. I'd like to change the colors of certain dataseries within a chart. The user might write into a cell the some values (i.e. "1" for blue, "2" for red, "3" for green....) and this color would be applied to the corresponding series. Any hint by using VBA?

    Thx in advance.

You have not supplied much information on how the colour is related to the number or which series in a chart.

You can get the code for changing series colour by using the macro recorder.

If you need more help post an example with more details on how the number, colours and series relate.
    Cheers

Here an example that might clarify the question.

    Thank you.

I can not seem to down load that file.

Can try attaching a zipped version of the file.

If vikasbhandari's post does not solve you problem can you explain why.

Thank you for the file Vikasbhandari. I'm trying to find out how to apply it to my example since it's a bit different than yours, but anyway it helped!

Andy, I could attach again the file if I can't go any forward following vikasbhandari's code.

    Thx.
