    Formatting a Chart

This particular post pertains to Excel 2007.

I have placed a simple 3D chart with X and Y axis that contain data. On my Y axis I want to change the color of the bars to RED if it exceeds the value of "90".
At the very least I wouldn't mind showing what percentage is "91" and older.
    Regards

Can you post your workbook and chart.

Many of the usual work arounds for charts are not possible when using 3d charts.

Your attachment contains a chart, which is not 3d or percentages.

Is this the right file or is the chart hidden somewhere?

    Well, I chose a 3D chart, at least I though I did?
And no the data is not percentages. I was trying to find out how to display the Y axis bars colored red for any numbers greater than 91. If this is not possible then I want to add a percentage chart of what is greater than 91.

    P.S.
The password is "2000" (No quotes).

    Edit:
I definately chose a 3D chart from the menu! I went through the steps just now and it produces the same type of chart you see in the file I provided.

It's a 2d column chart with a moving average trend line.

What exactly do you mean by Y axis bars? gridlines perhaps?

X axis is horizontal and Y axis is perpindicular to X.
The filled lines perpindicular to the X axis would be Y axis Bars.

These are terms I hear used where I work, they may not be industry standard terms.

    They be Gridlines.

You can not format individual gridlines. What you can do is add additional series to act as gridlines.

I have added 2 series plotted as xy-scatter with horizontal error bars.

Oops! I just re-read your definition.

You mean the columns. In which case you need 2 series.
Both based on the raw data using formula to determine which series will display the value.

I see what you have done! It did not occur to me to place horizontal bars.
    Thanks!

    This formats the columns.

I have left the original data series inplace because that provides the data source for the moving average trendline.

The 2 new series are based on data from sheet1
