Excel Calendar Functioning for a List?

    Hi All,

Is anyone aware of a way to setup a Calendar in Excel which populates its days based on start and end dates from a list of tasks. For example:
    1. I have a list of tasks on one sheet. Each task has a description, start time/date and end time/date.
    2. I would like to have a Calendar which populates its days (maybe with colors or the actual task description) base on the task list.

    Thanks for the ideas!

Do you mean a calendar or are you describing a gantt chart?
    Cheers

Thanks for looking at this, Andy. I'm looking for a Calendar. Though a Gantt chart may be a better way to look at project management, my users need to be able to see a calendar in front of them as that is how they reference all of there other activities. I know how to create a gantt chart with excel and really looking for a calendar on this one.

    Thanks again!

Andy, that's awesome! I've added validation to allow for 2009 list option in the year field. I'm going to have a much logger list of invoices (tasks) than the mockup you did, but I'm sure that will be as easy. Thank you so much for this tool!
