Plotting experimental conditions

Hi,

I have a relatively basic knowledge of Excel but have been asked to do something by my boss and need help! I have been running experiments at different temperatures and flow rates etc. and have been asked to plot a map of each condition set so we can keep track of what combination of conditons have been run, e.g 380 degrees, 0.2ml rate, 400 degrees 0.2ml, 380 0.5ml etc. I think he may have mentioned VLookUp but I have no idea where to start! Any help would be appreciated.

If you can post a small xls sample of your data and an example of what you want to achieve it would be easier to help

Thanks for the reply. Below is a small example of my data.

Exp. Ratio Pressure Temp LHSV
1 1 5 300 0.2
2 1 5 350 0.38
3 1 5 360 0.2
4 2.5 5 300 0.2
5 2.5 5 350 0.38
6 2.5 5 360 0.2

We want some kind of table which shows the temperatures in a column down the left hand side, the LHSV and ratios as column headings along the top and, in the cell where a specific temp meets a certain LHSV/ratio, the date on which this experiment was performed. For example, LHSV 0.2, Ratio 1

Sorry, that didn't look right at all! I may have to figure this out for myself, I can't even post the question correctly! Thanks for your help anyway.
