    Chart Update

    Thanks. I made a gantt chart for this. I need this gantt chart update itself when ever new data entry happens. İs this possible?

    Also I will sort this data only for "h" column whenever I sort it I want just sorted data to be shown on gantt chart .İs there a way to do this?

    And any ideas to show this gantt chart better?

    File : http://rapidshare.com/files/159955654/example4.xls

    Thanks in advance guys..

    No offense meant, but why do we have to look at an advertisement for a long while you can attach a file in this forum?
    This looks more like spamming than trying to solve a question...

    Consider using Named ranges for you chart data source.
    Plenty of examples on forum

    I try to add the following named formulas:

    ChartDataHeaders=OFFSET(Summary!$H$1,0,COUNTA(Summary!$H$:$H$)-1)
    ChartDataSeries1=OFFSET(Summary!$I$2,0,COUNTA(Summary!$H$1:$H$1)-1)

    for some reason column H153 onwards is treated as text.

    Use these 2 named ranges.

    ChartDataHeaders: =OFFSET(Summary!$H$1,1,0,COUNT(Summary!$H:$H),1)
    ChartDataSeries1: =OFFSET(ChartDataHeaders,0,1)

    If you are using xl2007 then change the names to not include the word Chart

    You need to update the second data series as well to use named ranges rather than fixed cell range.

    Is you chart correct in that column I is used for both the padding and data bar?

    All you needed to do was via the Source data dialog copy the Values reference from series 1 to series 2.
