Smile How? Multiply 100% stacked bars showing data from month to month is this possible?

    Hi there,

I have a graph that has regions along the X axis and percentage up the y axis.

It has 2 series. I;m using 100% stacked bars.

These numbers change over time. When I take a snap shot from the raw date I wish to be able to add this to the graph so that I can show the changes in one Graph.

for example, with one set of data the four region would have only show one stacked bar. but after 6 months or 6 weeks etc. each region would show 6 100% stacked bars.

I hope this is clear. I'm not sure this is possilbe. But most thing seem to be in Excel.

    Thanks

Hi Andy, I'm not sure how to post examples. Sorry.

Ah, just seen the attach icon.

These are the charts I'm using. THis data is a snapshot. It will change over time and I'd like to reflect this in the big charts. so HBAP will have 2,3,4 or 5 100% stacked bars after more data is included. I want to show the trend over a period of time.

I want to show the change for all regions over a period of time.

    Hope this makes sense now!

    Cheers

It's not really clear but I think this is what you are after for a chart with 6 periods of data.

I only did top left chart. Notice how the data needs to be laid out in order to display all the data.

    Post back if I mis-understood.

    Andy,

That's perfect and has given me somthing I can work from - Just upgraded to Excel 2007 and the new charting was giving me headaches.

    Thanks a million.
