Connecting points on chart with missing dates

I am recording data with a monthly timescale. Not all months have a value. The chart wizard leaves a gap in the line where there is no value. How can I connect all points on the line chart even when there is no data in the cells between.

    Welcome to the forum.

Put #N/A (or =NA() )in the blank cells.

So simple yet effective. I have tried for months to solve this on my own. Many thanks.

An alternative to the formula solution you can try selecting the chart and then use
Tools > Options > Chart > Plot empty cells > Interpolated.
    Cheers
