How do i get a goal line to stretch across the whole chart, I am doing a bar graph, and currently it strectches from the middle of my first vertical bar to the middle of my last vertical bar.

Hi,
for clarification: bars are horizontal, if you have vertical bars, you should call them columns.
Now to your question.
- go to Chart Options, select the Axes tab and click the checkbox for a secondary X axis. This new axis will appear at the top of the chart
- double click the axis to format it. On the Scale tab uncheck the box "Value (Y) Axis crosses between categories"
Now your line should stretch across the whole plot area. Remove labels, line and tick marks from the axis to make it invisible.
