I would have thought this easy and obvious, but I am tearing my hair out and working in the most obscure fashion which is slowing me down something awful! I have a consolidated scatter chart, it exists as a single sheet and I need to add hundreds of points derived from dozen of other scatter charts on other sheets in the same workbook, all I need to do is copy and paste the SERIES statement for each one. I go to the chart with the point I want to place on my consolidates chart and select the point. I go to the Formula Bar and copy the =SERIES statement, I go to my new consolidated chart and try to enter the SERIES statement, but I cannot. I cannot write in the Formula bar. It is driving me nuts. I just want to paste the statement into the formula bar of this consolidated chart. How can I create a new SERIES from the formula bar by hand?

Note this is Excel 2008 on a Mac where the brilliant minds at Microsoft saw fit to remove VB - my blood pressure soars just thinking of it. So I cannot use any VB. Just cut and paste! Which I cannot figure out how to make work.

Thanks - Lawrence
