No lines in XY (Scatter) chart

    Hi.

Im having trouble getting lines between my datapoints to show.

I have tried rightclicking the data point -> Format Data Series
and then tried both Automatic and Custom Line with no luck.
Tried all kinds of different line weights and styles too.

This is a "Scatter with data points connected by lines." type of chart. Selected from the Standard Types.

    Any ideas?

    SOLVED:

I had to list my data in cells and choose cell range for the lines
to appear. Earlier I had just defined the X and Y coordinates of a single point
and Excel doesnt want to make lines between such points.

do you have gaps in your data range?
If so check Tools > Options > Chart > Plot empty cells > Interpolate

If not can you post example workbook

    Oh, one more question..

Is it possible to "freeze" the X and Y axis? What I mean is that they dont scale up or down when values change..

    EDIT: Solved.
