Adding additional data to a pivotchart

Hi, i am working with a pivotchart and need to add more info to it. The chart would for instance show a deviation and i would like to add the reason for the deviation that would show with the chart and update to new reasons with a different selection on the pivot.

Is this possible?

pivot charts will only plot the information that's in the pivot table.

To add stuff you will need to create a standard chart.

Have the chart keep sync with different row/column/page items in the PT will probably require VBA code.

Thanks, i found a book with some information that i will try. They call it dynamic labelling although there is a 255 character limitation on it. I must now just try it to see if it will work
