Insert break in X axis for discontinuous time

I have repeated measures of a Y variable, but no measures between weeks 36 and 52. I want to insert a break in the X axis to illustrate this discontinuous time. I don't just want to leave blank spaces for weeks 37-51, I would like to break the axis. I appreciate any suggestions!

Hi Anne,
Assuming you are using an XY Scatter, you may be able to use the technique shown here for breaking a Y axis.

If you do not want to break the X axis you could try setting the axis to Category rather than time series, assuming your x axis labels are dates.
