    Issues with the scale of a graph

    Here's the problem, I am plotting two different Y values that have the same X value; however instead of having a scale for my X axis (for example, each line on my x axis represents an increase of 5) I want the X axis to to representative of my data. So instead of having the values of X axis increase by a set increment, the X-Axis scale will represent the values I am plotting.

    I have attached a copy of my graph, as you can see the scale is set to increase by 14; but I want to disregard that and have it so the first value of the scale is April 01/09, the second is Apr 06/09, the third May 01/09 etc... all the way up to the final value, Jan 02/10.

    Hi dante19,

    Right click on your chart, select "Chart Options", view the "Axes" tab, and select "Category" for your "Category (X) axis" option.
