Adding little arrows to stock charts

I want to create an up arrow and place it below the chart where there is a "buy" signal, and similarly a down arrow above the chart, where there is a "sell" signal.

I could also use the letters "B" and "S" instead of the arrows. I can get these on the chart, but right on top of it, not above and below.

Can you post example of your current chart and data.
And how the sell/buy signals are decided.

Here is some price data with the buy sell signals.
I actually lost the example I had - I was working with just the close, and using the 2nd axis I managed to get BUY / SELL on top of the chart.

I added 2 series to the secondary axis. Both as line chart. Format no line. I used the Data label displaying Series name to add the up/down indicators.
Currently the marker is displayed at the High/Low price.

Once you have created and formated the 2 series you can delete the secondary Y axis so the markers align to the primary axis

I have used 2 extra series as Andy did, and I drawed a real arrow shape, copy and paste on to the series point.
