I have a data spreadsheet, please see attached. I want to Plot a bubble graph with X Axis being the "probability" i.e Column C as in the spreadsheet and Y Axis being the Impact (column B) and bubble should be plotted by looking at Project (Column A) and it should plot according to that.
Is this possible?
any help would be appreciated
why do you want a bubble chart when you have no data for bubble size?

To give you an example, my vision was, i make a graph from the data i have got which, plots for example
Y axis to have 1 - Important
2 - Significant
3 - Critical
4 - Catastrophic
X Axis -> 1 - Ext Remote 2 - Remote 3 - Possible 4 - Likely
and presume if the above are X axis and Y Axis, the ABCD (looking at first column in my spreadsheet) appears as a bubble on 4.Catasptrophic (Y Axis) and 1.Ext Remore (X Axis)
IF there is a better way to show this, i would appreciate it...Sorry !
why a bubble chart rather than xy scatter-since you only have two sets of values? either way you'll need some formulas like =left(B2)+0 to convert your impact and probability data to real numbers to plot

A bubble chart normally uses the bubble size to impact a 3rd data value. As your project information is purely text what size will the bubbles be?

Brilliant, but as you can see, its very hard to explain what the numbers relate to in the graps (whether these are impact or probabilty) because they are in similar range, also what each number represents, is there anyway i can show that in that graph?
And how did you manage to show the data as the Text in column A...
you can add axis labels. what do you mean by "what each number represents"?
you can construct the axes labelling using 2 dummy series.
The data labels are linked to cells. You can more easily do the linking with this free addin

What i mean by it is just how in your graph, the circle appears as the Text "ANSN", "SKKS" etc etc
