    Grid lines

    Hi all,
I'm having trouble getting tick marks to show up all around the perimeter of the plot. I can get them to show up on the bottom and the left side, but not on the right side and the top.

Also is there a way to elongate the major tick marks so that they look more pronounced compared to the minor tick marks. As of now, they are barely distinguishable.

Not understanding your question. I have a graph/plot in Excel 2007. It's a scatter plot with one series. I want the tick marks to show up all around the graph (all along the perimeter, including the top, bottom left and right).

Sorry the title of this thread should be tick marks, not grid lines.

    Re: Grid lines

Tickmarks only appear along the axes. I think you'd need to add secondary x and y axes, and then format them so the numbers disapppear (e.g., as ;;;)

    Re: Grid lines

How do I add a secondary x and y axis? Do I have to add a data column?
