[SOLVED] Offsetting tick marks of a line graph

I have formed a column/line chart. I want to have 2 column plots and two line plots, but the line plots I have no line color so that the only thing that shows is the tick mark as a -. My goal is to post the column as an actual value and try to show the tick as the estimated value to show any variance from projection. This works fine with there is only 1 column plot and one line plot. I would like to show two column plots with two line plots that are offest from each other. Currently they only plot vertically from each other. Is there a way to offset the line tick marks so their orrientation is more horizontal?
Attached is an example. The first graph is the desired look but with two columns per period. Second graph is what the graph looks like when I try to graph multiple columns.

    Thank you

Use a xy-scatter series where the X-error bar is used to draw the datum lines
