    Exporting a chart to PPT by clicking a button

    Hi Expert,

    i have created some reports with some graphs and will like to create a button which by clicking on it export the graph into PPT.

    How to create such a button or function?

    Hello Andy,,
    thank you for your input.
    I used the code by adding a button unfortunatelly it is working partially.
    When i click on the button but by clicking on run in the macro, it is copying the Graph in the ppt.

    Hi Andy,

    thank you for the response. i followed your instructions but it still not working.
    Once click on the button there is a message asking to select the chart and to retry again.
    I did it but it still not working.

    The problem is the routine is suppose to run on the active chart and by pressing a button you have removed focus from the chart so there is no active chart.

    If the button is from the Control Toolbox set the property TackFocusOnClick to False.

    Or use a Forms Button and assign the macro to the button.
