Is point inside the chart area or not

Hi there,

Here you can find my xy scatter chart attached. Also I have a macro which fills the polygon of series1. My question is that; Is there any way to determine a point(x,y) inside the polygon or not. User will input the x,y values and my excel will say it's in the area or not.

Any help would really appreciated.
