Adding a table to a chart

We have a chart that we would like add to a few tables onto. These tables would be an overlap on the chart, some would call it a seperate layer. How do I format the data to be able to copy it and paste it onto the chart? Currently I just have the data typed out into cells, that is, it is not formatted as an excel table. I'm not sure making it a table would work but then I'm not very familar with tables inside of excel.

The only way to get my tables to overlay on the chart is to paste into powerpoint and paste both as an excel object. That is my workaround right now but I don't like it. The other way is shown in the attached spreadsheet. I took a print screen of the tables and moved them over my chart. This cases all sorts of resizing hell so I'm anxious to get better at this.

    Thanks for any suggestions!

Simplest thing would be to format the cells underneath the table and make the chart transparent.

Or you could copy the range and paste as Linked Picture. The linked picture would be 'live' in that changes to the cells would be reflected in the picture. But you will have to have the picture positioned above the chartobject rather than within it.

    Andy, Thanks.

    the camera tool works fine.

I just figured there would be a way to dump those tables over the graph but apparently not.
