removing values from line graph

need help- i am trying to create a line graph of a 'mock portfolio'. each portfolio start 1 yr apart.[i.e jan 06,jan 07 etc.. and at 100$ each time]. i don;t know how to create a graph where nothing appears before the index starts. basically the only value that should be touching the y-axis is jan 06, jan 07 should be at 100$ but should start at jan 07, along the x-axis. right now i have 100$ as the place holder before the calculations start. how do i create a graph that only shows from the calculations onward?

i also want to be able to put this into ppt and have each trend line appear on a click..see attached.

any help would be fantastic.
