Pivot table sum help

Hi Guys,

I posted a few days ago Here and ive run into a dilemma using pivot tables.

The problem i am getting is that the table is refusing to sum the values of the part numbers see pic

i have tried formatting the cells of the input data with no prevail can anyone help

You need to format your pivot table, goto pivot table tools then design look for report layout then select tabular

it appears that whatever you are using as the data field is actually stored as text. copy a blank cell then select your source data column and paste special-values, add
