Excel 2010 Chart Labels

I have a simple chart with 3 lines plotted simply from a table of data but no labels? On the X axis I have months, on the Y I have tonnes and the lines plotted are tonnes per month. However, no-one but myself knows the Y axis means tonnes. I can't seem to find where to add the axis name or where to add the chart name? I have memories of this being automatic..

Select your chart. Your upper ribbon should have a new sub-section called 'Chart Tools'. The Design section lets you choose some common layouts. The Layout ribbon lets you modify chart title, etc.
