How To Create A Chart That Automatically Updates Over Time

    Hi,

I'm looking to create a chart that updates as data becomes available over time. It's probably best described by looking at the attached.

Basically I have forecast and actual data feeding from two different sources into my dashboard. Through the use of IF and HLOOKUP functions I only pull both sets of data in when I know the actual figure is available (obviously the forecast figure is known in advance). What i'm hoping to achieve is a chart that extends over the financial year but the problem i've got is that when the data isn't available the IF function returns a nil value that obviously gets plotted on the graph. Is there a 'value if false' i can input that would achieve the same as if the cells were empty (i.e. they aren't plotted) because that is the look i'm trying to create?

Also regardless of the period we're reporting I'd still like the x-axis to show all the months for the financial year and the y-axis to be scaled as if the larger figures expected at the end of the year were input i.e.£12m+.

    Thanks in advance,

    Snook
