line graph help - multiple lines

hi, i need to make a line graph of running bank account balances. the hotizontal axis is the date and the verticle axis is the account balance. i need to do more than 1 account, and show 1 line per account. i have downloaded the transaction data for the accounts and because transactions occur on different days for the different accounts, the data quantity is different for each account. how do i do this? any help is appreciated. cheers.

Hello,

use a XY Scatter chart with lines. You can have several data series with different dates and various numbers of data points. All the dates will line up nicely as a time scale on the X axis and the data will be plotted accordingly.

is there a way I can add a third series on the graph being the sum of the 2 balances over the time range?

You can add any series as long as it has dates as the x and numbers as the y values.
