Graph axis - conditional format

I have a graph where there is a drop-down menu to select the data being graphed. Sometimes the data format is $ and other times it is %. The data will dynamically change on the graph when I choose from the drop-down, but the y-axis will not change it's number format based on the data...it always stays in $.

Any way to have the axis format change along with the data?
