Question Excel 2010 Charts - Line Graph - How to specify which line is on top?

    Hello,
I have a line graph with three lines, there are 2 points that two of the lines have in commmon.
Right now, the green line shows these two points but I want the black line to be the one on top... how can I do this?

When I right click > Select Data Source > I can move the Series up or down, but this just changes the order of the legend, not the layering of the lines... any ideas?

    Thanks

If the series are all on the same axis then changing the plot order via the Select data dialog will alter which line is draw on top.
It will also change the legend sequence.

If the legend sequence is important add more series repeating the data and delete legend entries in order to create desired legend

    Hi Adam,

The line you add last appears in the top layer.
So you could simply change the sequence when adding the different lines.
However you can also change the layers in 'Select Data Source' with the arrow buttons.
The last series (bottom of the list) is displayed in the top layer.

    Regards

    Holger
