For use in a column chart: I have attached an example of an Excel spreadsheet where I would like to have the y axes display the numbers and the column lables to display the corresponding percentages. Is this possible?
Thanks,
ANP
Hello DILIPandey,
Thanks for your response, now I have attached better information for you, or, anyone else who can help me. The data labels are automatically filled with the number portion of data as in cell B7. Corresponding to B7 is B8. B8 contains a percentage that I would prefer be the data label, however, I would like to keep the numercal Y axes label.
On the attached chart, I have removed the columns containing the percentage values because they were duplicate representations of the numerically labeled columns, only in percentage form. Each of the columns I removed was labeled with the percentage value which corresponded to each numerically labeled column.
Also, I would like to have each column labeled with the legend titles instead of having a legend, but, also keep the Office labels along the x axes.
Can anyone take a look at the attached info and give me some pointers?
Thanks,
ANP
Hi ANP,
If you right click column label .. what you see as options. I believe these are the options which can be used.. suppose if you right click on 186 on bar 1 of office.. and choose "Format Data Labels"... you see the required options there where you can choose the number /label etc to display. thanks.
Regards,
DILIPandey
