Post Stacked bar set up minimum X-value

    Hi Community

This would be my first post in this forum
I have attached a spreadsheet which contain Stacked bar chart that basically trying to imitate gant chart

My problem is might be very simple but I don't know how to fix it

When I try to format the X-axis, instead of inputting data in date (04/08/2010) I have to input the date in numerical value (40394)
this is extremely inconvenience as the project get longer
I need to get familiar with the numerical date

Is there any way where we can input the axis options as Date?

No this feature did not survive the upgrade process between 2003 to 2007.
    Cheers

    Hi Andy

What do you mean by that?
You mean this feature has been removed?
My other type of graph works fine with inputing "date"
but for some reason with stacked bar i need to input "numerical" date value

Actually when I check, rather than rely on memory, the xy-scatter is the chart type that lost the ability to convert dates to values.
I have just set the maximum scale as a date value for column and stacked column/bar.

Is your excel update in terms of service packs?
