    Weight loss Chart help please

    I want to make a weightloss chart in excel, its needs to be in stones and lbs then when I enter my weight a week later it will show the loss or if I have put on, anyone know what formulas I need to use?

    Hi louise2613,

    You can use variance (difference method)... i.e., current weight minus previous weight = if result is +ve you have put on and if -ve you have reduced...

    Also, you can show columns by days where you will enter your weight per week which can be shown in a simple column graph chart. - just select the data and inset - > chart-> column type

    See if this workbook helps.

    Enter the date in Column A, your stones in Column B, and pounds in Column C

    Columns G:H can be hidden using the grouping button below the formula bar.
