Dynamic Chart Formatting Based on Defined Column

I am working with a dynamic chart (that uses drop down boxes) and would like to format data within the series based on cells from defined column. By formatting, i mean I would like to point to a particular column and have each data point or bar to be colored according the data within this column. I have attached a file that shows the data I am working with.

I really know nothing about macros, so I am hoping this can be done with writing one. If not, I guess I need to learn...

Thanks in advance for your help.

I don't believe there's any way to do that without code. if you're still stuck on it on Monday, I'll try and take a look.

if at first you don't succeed try doing it the way your wife told you to

You could add a series for each colour. Overlap the columns and base each series on formula to test colour value in column G.
The dymanic part would be the same as currently only you would need to add a named series for each colour.

    Sorry for the delayed response...
I am attepmting to work with a macro, but not having much luck. I am attaching a file that shows the macro on a separate sheet, along with the chart I am working on - it may be way out in left field, as I basically know nothing about VBA.
Again, I am trying to base the colors of my chart on "Mfg", whether it actually shows up on the chart or not.

Your solution works amazingly! I definitely tried to overcomplicate things, so I really appreciate your method! Thank you, TB
