    Overlapping bars with conditional formatting

    Hi

I am trying to create a bar chart with overlapping bars. I need the bottom bar to show the YTD £ Goal and the upper bar to show the YTD £ Actual. I have created this

However, I then need to colour code the upper bars according to % against the goal.

Does anyone know of a way to do this?

I managed to get colour coding on but then I could only do it with the percentage on the sceondary axis and that meant losing the YTD figure

    I am using Excel 2003

    Thanks

You need to post example workbook so we can see how you have constructed the existing chart.

Chart CF is done either with additional data series or VBA code.
