Question How to merge similar values in a graph

    **Edit**
I figured a "quick" way to solve my problem and decided to sort all the values by name, and then sum all the values per item, and then use that sum in the graph

    Thank you anyways

    Hi there

I have what is probably a problem easy to solve, but after a (quick) search on the forum I can't find the answer.
I'm doing a graph, and some of my values are similar, and I need to find a way to merge them.
Let's say I run a grocery store, and my data sheet has a list of fruits bought by quantity.

    Ex
    1: Apple, Qty 2
    2: Raisins, Qty 3
    3: Apple, Qty 5
    4: Orange, Qty 1
    5: Apple, Qty 1
    6: Orange, Qty 6
    (etc.)

Is there a quick way to merge all the similar "fruits" in the graph, so it shows Apple: 8, Raisins: 3, Orange 7, instead of 3 different Apple with individual numbers?

    Thank you for your help
