    Grouping Pivot Table Data into Quarters by Year

    Version 2010 - when I group data in the pivot table into quarters, quarters from different years get grouped together, e.g.: Qtr 1 for 2011 and 2012 values show up grouped together as "Qtr 1". How do I add the year referrence or specify for grouping?

    When grouping (right-click Date field > Group), make sure that you select Years, in addition to Quarters...
