I manage charting for production where we have tables of Planned output (qty), Actual output, Variance and Yield for many types of products across all 13 weeks of every quarter. The Planned qty is for the entire quarter from the start. Obviously the Actuals, Variance and Yield are valid for the week they are entered. The Variance is the calculated difference in the tables and Yield is another calculated value in the tables
The goal is to limit the data entry person to entering the quarter# and week# they are entering the data for, and entering all the Actuals and Yield data for all various products one week at a time.
I need to leave all the production calculations (Variance, Yield, and accrued week-to-week output) in the tables for all weeks, otherwise I need to either 1) massage the tables by dragging the calculations into the present week, or 2) massage the selected data array for the graph charts to limit the graphs to the past and present Actuals, Variance and Yield.
How can I either automate the tables to not use future calculations which result in displaying irrelevant future graphs (another way of saying this is to use only the past and present data), or automate the selected data of the graphs to display only the past and present values?
The charts are used for reporting.
[I hope this makes sense]
Thanks,
