Unable to Set Title of First Column in Pivot Table

Greetings (again),

I am unable to set the column heading of the first column in my pivot table, is this possible?

I have my data grouped by the year, so I want to add the heading "Year" to that column.

When I attempt to, I receive the error message "Cannot change this part of a PivotTable report."

the top left cell of a PT seems to not be accessable, but you should be able to change the title of the "year" column

Right clicking in the column for the years, and selecting "Field Settings", the Field Settings dialog is displayed, which shows the custom name of "Year", but the custom name is not displayed in the PT.
