    Hi
you could link your x-values to a range in the worksheet - or is there a reason you don't want to do this?

    Re: plots

i tried that earlier on a different chart, and it didnt seem to work
was looking to see how again and couldnt find what to do
even so it still does no start on the zero line

my dog has just had pups and i want he birth weight on the zero line hen each day will be ok
as it is - birth weight is on point 1 so every day is one out: day 7;s weight will be on line 8
it doesnt make sence that we cant start at zero - ever - it seems

    Re: plots

What type of chart are you using: line or scatter? This should be easily accomplished using an XY scatter plot.
