How you delete the old information stored in the drop-down filters from a pivot table?

Hello,

I'm having a problem deleting the old information stored in the drop-down filters from a pivot table. After I refresh it, the new information is updated, but all old names & job #'s are still visible in the filters. How can this info be removed?

In the file attached, one employee was entered with the incorrect spelling, and was fixed at the source (Hourly Employee Worksheet tab), however you can still see the incorrect entry on the pivot report (Payroll Input Summary Report tab). These 2 names are the only ones selected in the row labels filter.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated

Goto PivotTable Options>Data>and set Items to retain per field = None. Then refresh table
