    Max five selection in slicers

    Hi,

Maybe this should be in programming forum?

I have lot of datas in several groups. group 1, group 2......, group 100
I have create powerpivottable, chart and slicers.
I want to have limit in slicers, so I can just pick five groups. Would be great to get message "just pick five"

    Why limited.
I am creating dashboard, and I have limited space on my screen.

I reckon you can't use slicers for that because if you assign a macro to one it doesn't work as a slicer any more

edit: if you reverse the approach though you may be able to use the pivottableupdate event to check the number of selected items in the slicer. no way of knowing which one was just selected unless you store the previous selections each time.

Place the selections in combo boxes in the Ribbon. Create your own tab first. Be sure to Activate it in the Worksheet activate event handler.
