    Plotting graph with 2 data series(Trouble with y-axis values)

    I am having trouble with adjusting the y-axis value to what I want. I am plotting scientific values and cannot get the correct values. Any ideas?

    Thanks

    No, not unless you provide more detail.

    Post example workbook so we can see what you have currently and then explain what it is you are trying to produce.

    Re: Plotting graph with 2 data series(Trouble with y-axis values)

    Hi,

    This is what i currently have;

    x-axis = -24.04, -25.29, -27.05, -30.06
    y-axis => A= 1.20E-23, 2.83E-14, 2.01E-07, 4.48E-03
    B = 1.28E-08, 6.02E-05, 4.46E-03, 8.31E-02

    i cant get my y-axis correct the line graph looks terrible, im assuming its got something to do with the major and minor units but i could be wrong

    Thanks

    It might well do but without a workbook so we can see what you have done it's impossible to tell.

    What do you mean that "it looks terrible" and you "can't get the y-axis correct?" What do you want it to look like? Is it because the y values cover a large range (1e-23 to 5e-3) and you can't really see the small numbers on a linear axis? Have you tried formatting the y axis as a logarithmic axis?

    Yes they cover a wide range. I want the y-axis from (top to bottom) 1e-25 to 0. No I haven't tried that, not sure on how to do that.

    thanks

    Thanks, changing it to a log graph worked!
