Chart Axes and their names in Excel 2010

    Hi
This is my first on this forum... :-)

I need to modify a complex macro (built in the old non-VBA macro language).
I want to select the category axis with this macro and than to modify some object values.

When using the function "Select" I need to address the name of the chart axis as an argument.
It used to be "Axis 1" or "Axis 2". Not so anymore...

    Any ideas ?

If this is covered in another thread, please point me to it.

    THX / Tommy

Can you post workbook to illustrate the problem.

Have you tried any variations on "Axis 1" such as removing the space?
    Cheers

    Thanks.
I will post to try and claify my issue, but I'm off on a private trip this weekend without any Excel/PCs with me. I will be back early next week.

Since I have abilities in both XML and VBA coding, I was thinking of crossing them. It is quite easy to do this in VBA. but can i address a vba macro from within xml ?
