Question How to Make a Chart/graph without numbers??

Hello, I'm suppose to create a Graph/Chart that has customers who live in the UK and where the customers live. I have tried to do this and am finding it very difficult. The data that I'm trying to make this graph/chart is in the description. Thank you for looking

Hi, I'm presuming there is a lot more data than this usually?

Depending on what data there would be, there are several approaches to graphing this.

Would need more data to be able to help out more though. Perhaps if you could provide a lager dummy data set without any personal data (names, tel nos etc. included) that would help.

Question Re: How to Make a Chart/graph without numbers??

The file that I added to the .zip file is an access file which is what I used to extract the excel data from. As I said before, I'm suppose to get everyone from the UK and where they live in the UK and put it into a graph/data in excel. Thanks for looking

    EVERYONE in the UK?
Who is providing this data and what is it being used for??

EDIT: Ignore that. Having had a look at the data, I now see what you mean.

Personally I would use the postcode prefix as the starting point. Allocate a town/city/region/county (depending on what level of location you need) to each postcode and create a pivot table from there which you could then use to plot a graph showing "number of customers per town/city/region/county".

Does that sound like the sort of thing you need to produce?

Yes, everyone in the UK. All I got told was to draw the information out from the database and then find those customers who live in the UK and where most of the UK-based customers live. I was suppose to do this by using a query. I can do that part but don't how how to do the graph/chart. Thanks again
