ive never used pivot tables before however i know they are powerful and i wanted to see if this is possible with pivot tables or in excel at all.

ok so firstly there is this data:

if you click on the SERVER TIME(EDT) at the bottom you will see the data i want to work with.

what i want to be able to do is make an excel spreadsheet where the user can either select from a drop down different time zones (from GMT-12 to GMT+12)
then i also want the data to be arranged so you can open and close days, for example you may see
Monday +
Teusday +
Wednesday -
Daily Reset
Arena 3v3
Thursday +

finally it would be handy if you could also only show or hide certain events
the events being: Daily reset, arena 3v3, arena MBA, arena 10v10, territory war etc.

is this possible or am I being a bit of a dreamer here?
