Add Scrolling to Excel 2007 Line Chart

    Hi-
I have a line chart with 5 points of data (Product A, Product B, Product C, Product D, and Product E) for 365 days. The chart is obviously very very crowded. I am trying to find a way to add scrolling to the chart so that only 7 or 14 days worth of data shows at one time. I have found a few examples online (all seem to include the OFFSET function), but I just can't seem to get anything to work. Does anyone know how to do this? I am working with Excel 2007. Thanks!!!!!

    Hello Meg
Would you consider using a 7 or 14 day table to base your chart on? Take a look at the attached example. Here I've only referenced 1 month's data but it can easily be extended for a year or more using the same idea. Perhaps you could work with this rather than dynamic ranges.

    Hope this helps.

Glad you found it useful. See the new attached file. I've extended the data to 1 year and adjusted the formulas and scrollbar. As a suggestion I've also created a dynamic chart title formatted UK dates dd/mm/yyyy, you can change that if you wish or discard it altogether but it does give you a quick idea as to what date range you're looking at.
