How do I make formulas in a pivot table?

    Hi!

I`d like to calculate the differences between the years in my pivot table (sum and %) for each merch, see attacment. (When I make formuals in pivot, the formula doesn`t work in other cells)
I also want a pillar diagram to see the differences.

    Can you help me out?

Yes, thats good, but how did you do it?

Can you show % difference as well?

    Hi Bandini,

Choose field settings from the "sum of Sum" and go to tab " show value as " and change " difference from " to " % Difference From" .

For pillar diagra... click on pivot and insert any pillar chart.. when you see that % bar are not visible. just select that in chart and choose " format data series" and choose "Secondary axis"

    See the revised attachment:

Great stuff. Is it a way to only show ocurrences where the differences is under or over 50 %. Like using filter in an ordinary Excel spreadsheet.

    Hi Bandini,

You can choose conditional formatting to hide those cells/ rows. and also if you want to filter, yes, you can do that as well.. but it would be like a normal filter applied on pivot table.. to apply filter select e4 : A4, starting from e4.
