How to get a report filter to display info alphabetically in a pivot table

Hi there,

Can anyone tell me how to get the information in the report filter to display in alphabetical order? I''m sure it's really easy, but I can't figure it out. Thank you so much!

on the data tab, select "sort", it defaults to A-Z, change if needed
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear enough, I know how to do that. What I'm looking for is when you have a pivot table with a filter, and you click on the arrow to get the drop-down box to pick the person who's info you want to display, how do I get that list to display alphabetically?

If it is not in the 1st column, I dont think you can sort it. A PT will only allow sorting based on the 1st column
