Line Chart: How to make lines appear only where data exists, prevent line returning to 0

    Dear Excel Forum Experts,

I'm trying to manipulate my line graph to prevent the line defaulting back to 0 where there is no data.
I've made a simple example of the problem, attached, which I hope helps to illustrate the point I am trying to convey.

    Any help is greatly appreciated,

    With kind regards,

    Ben

Use normal line chart rather than stacked line chart.

Set the empty cells to be displayed as gap rather than zero.
