Graph problem, single value spread equally over a timescale on a graph

hi there, I've done searches and find things close to but not what I'm after.

I've been given an amount say 2250 which needs to be plotted on a graph spread equally between two dates. I have seven such figures each with different dates for example

2250 26-8-14 to 12-1-16
260 19-1-15 to 6-3-15
1992 23-3-15 to 7-6-16

I've told the person in question I don't think excel can do this simply. it needs formulas and things changing before it can be put on a graph.

Does anyone know differently? I'd love to make it nice and simple so they can do it and not me.

@Dracven: please post a sample workbook with some typical data and layout ... and maybe the charts. I think it's doable but I'm not going to build a workbook to test it.
