Question Alignment of numbers beneath columns

Hey all,

I'm having a problem making a fairly simple column chart, and I'm hoping I'm missing an obvious fix to this issue. Basically, I've got a simple Clustered Column chart, with 5 columns shown. Each column is supposed to represent data collected in 2 hour increments (i.e. a column for 2 a.m. to 4 a.m., a column for 4 a.m. to 6 a.m., etc.). Thus, I'd like for the numbers on the x-axis to be below the left side of each column; however, I can't find a way to move the corresponding numbers to anywhere except dead center beneath the columns. Can anyone provide some insight on how to get around this?

I've attached a screenshot in case my description was a bit confusing. I want the numbers beneath the x-axis (2, 4, 6, 8) to appear below the left-most side of each column, instead of their current position below the center of each column.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

It would be far better if you could upload a workbook sample, pictures are impossible to work with, and some1 may just send you a picture back of the solution
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

sorry for the delay in replying

if you click on the x-axis labels, you can change the alignment of the values. you can use the same buttons on the home tab under alignment, see if 1 of those gives you what you need?
